On the Edge

Standing on the edge

Of insanity and reason

Wondering which way to fall

What a quandary it is

Choosing between one

It’s impossible to set them apart.

When one stares into the other

Discovers own image in the mirror  

Disenchanted madness and reason

Stare at own images in the other

Laugh and laugh and laugh

Realizing how absurd and ridiculous

Their self-reflection looks.
